National transporter Qantas Airways will utilize wide-body Airbus A330s on all its weekday services between Sydney and Perth and Melbourne and Perth from May next year as it looks more of the airlines business travel market.
Qantas supposed the move would help it better serve the growing airlines market in business travelers, who it says prefer the more at ease wide-body aircraft. Qantas took release on Sunday of another A330 from the Airbus factory in places Toulouse, France, which will turn out to be the ninth A330 to fly on the Qantas domestic airlines network.
Qantas currently operates about 100 return aircraft with more than 26,000 seats from Perth to Sydney and Melbourne every week. Qantas and opponent Virgin Australia are both chasing a superior chunk of the airlines business market.
