Two small planes crash at Air-Venture show

More than thousands of typical airplanes are soaring into Oshkosh for todays violate of the Experimental Aircraft Association’s Air-Venture demonstration. A proof number of aircraft is present at last year’s show – just about 12,000. And there were more than 550,000 spectators.

The 40th anniversary of Van’s R-V Aircraft is being flattered today. There will be exhibition and air shows all through the day. 

Award of Honor recipient Thomas Hudner Junior will come out at the E-A-A on Wednesday.  Film-maker George Lucas also proceeds on Wednesday. The Air-Venture is evidence for runs throughout next Sunday.

A plane stopped on Saturday while incoming at the Oshkosh show grounds. Winnebago County establishment said it hit several parked trucks on its drop. The pilot and a traveler were taken to a sanatorium with non-life-threatening damage. As a result, corridors were scraping off for about two-and-a-half hours. Also, Outagamie County establishment said an investigational aircraft went downward Saturday afternoon in the town of Bovina. The pilot, the only person on board, had non-life-threatening injuries.
